OUR MAP

We are at the halfway point in our study of the ten key practices. The first five deepen our relationship with God: worship, prayer, Bible study, single-mindedness and total surrender. Now we shift to those that bless our relationships with people around us. The first of these is Biblical community.

We believe the one true God wants to be in a relationship with us for eternity. To make that possible, God provided the way to restore our relationship with him — through the sacrifice of his Son, Jesus Christ. All those who believe receive a new identity and come together to form a new community called the church. It is through the church that God will accomplish his primary purposes on earth.

Biblical community is essential to the Christian life and a vital aspect of the church. As we engage in this new family under God’s leadership, we not only achieve God’s purposes in our lives, in the lives of others and in the world, but we also reinforce our belief in God and his church.
